Remote Gambling Association Lashes Out At U.S
The Remote Gambling Association (RGA) has reacted angrily to the deal reached by PartyGaming co-founder Anurag Dikshit. The association called on the European Commission to protect the interests of EU based online gambling firms from retroactive and discriminatory enforcement by US authorities.
The association is one of the better known gaming bodies and regularly voices its concerns on particular issues.
The RGA declared that European Commissioner Peter Mandelson had written to the U.S Government in June 2008 requesting a freeze on all enforcement actions against European online gaming companies because any such actions violated international trade rules set by the World Trade Organization. The letter remained unanswered.

The association is planning to appeal to the EU to back up its case against the U.S for having reached a deal with Anurag Dikshit.
